You will be part of the technology team, the engine room of the business. delivering bespoke systems that underpin CFC’s competitive edge in a dynamic and fast paced marketplace. As a Senior Product Manager, you will take a strategic and outcomes-focused role, leading high-impact initiatives that drive measurable improvements in efficiency, profitability, and user experience across the business.
You will operate with a high level of autonomy, owning complex problem spaces and using your expertise to define product strategies that align with CFC’s broader business goals. You’ll lead discovery efforts, gather insights from stakeholders and customers, and translate those into scalable, value-driven solutions expressed through well-defined epics, features, and stories.
You will be a key voice in shaping the overall product roadmap, working closely with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, finance, operations, and technology to ensure prioritisation decisions reflect both customer needs and strategic objectives. Your work will balance near-term delivery with long-term impact, ensuring solutions are feasible, technically robust, and aligned to our product vision.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and QA to elaborate scope, validate solutions, and support delivery—ensuring user stories are testable, clearly defined, and consistently refined to a high standard. You will take a hands-on role in agile ceremonies, helping drive momentum, remove blockers, and ensure alignment across the development lifecycle.
About the role
In this role, you will lead strategic stakeholder engagement and discovery sessions across business functions to define complex problem spaces, align on priorities, and ensure product decisions are grounded in business value, user needs, and technical feasibility. You will also:
- Conduct advanced analysis and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data, transforming insight into actionable product direction and supporting strategic prioritisation across multiple initiatives or capabilities.
- Clearly articulate the strategic “why” behind initiatives, epics, and features, ensuring alignment with overarching product and company goals, and communicating this effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive the definition, refinement, and prioritisation of epics, features, and stories, supporting Product Managers and Agile Business Analysts in ensuring backlog items are high-quality, outcome-focused, and ready for delivery.
- Own and lead the product backlog across your area of responsibility, ensuring a continuous flow of well-defined, high-impact work while guiding the team through agile ceremonies and ensuring alignment to delivery goals.

- Have a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Have the ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, well-defined user stories with robust acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with both business goals and user expectations
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment across all levels
- Highly organised, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple high-impact initiatives, balancing short-term goals with long-term strategic value.
