We have an opportunity for an
Operational Resilience Analyst to join our
Risk department here at
Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting into the Operational Resilience Manager, you will support the team in managing and overseeing Operational Resilience and the collaborative approach undertaken at TMK to support the SMF24 in discharging their regulatory responsibilities in respect of Operational Resilience. This includes managing and overseeing Operational Resilience across the TMK Group, including localised regulations such as the MAS Business Continuity Management (BCM) Guidelines in Singapore.
The role includes responsibility for:
- Maintenance of the Operational Resilience Framework and supporting documents.
- Regular production of draft reports for internal and external audiences including Board and Risk Committees.
- Support the annual testing cycle including planning, executing and writing up tests.
- Support tracking and remediation of actions, risks, issues and vulnerabilities.
- Embed understanding and operation of Operational Resilience throughout the organisation through engaging with the business on ad hoc queries and delivering training.
- Facilitate the incident management process, including root cause analysis, assessment of impacts and identifying risks/vulnerabilities and associated remediation.
- Build relationships with key functions, Service Owners and Operational Resilience Champions.
- Liaise with Service Owners and Operational Resilience Champions in the continual assessment of identified Important Business Services (IBSs) and oversight and management of Impact Tolerances (ITols).
- Work closely with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery teams to ensure alignment on testing and major incident response and recovery.
- Collaborate with business functions that support Operational Resilience, such as Procurement, Information Security, Business Change and IT.
- Work collaboratively with the Risk Management team, particularly in relation to Operational Risk and Operational Resilience matters.
- Keep up to date with changes (e.g. regulatory, market or internal) and support associated enhancements or change to the Operational Resilience approach as a result.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a degree in any subject or will have demonstrable work experience. They will also have strong written and verbal skills. An understanding of insurance and Lloyd’s is desirable, as is knowledge of the Operational Resilience regulations and the wider regulatory approach. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, who has strong analytical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
