JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Conduct Analyst will support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the first-line Conduct Risk Framework, ensuring Canopius complies with the FCA’s Consumer Duty, as well as other applicable regulatory requirements globally. As a group function, the role involves managing conduct risk across all regions and ensuring Canopius delivers fair outcomes for customers while maintaining compliance with evolving regulatory expectations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Conduct Manager and the Conduct Team, helping Underwriters to ensure they are at all times acting in accordance with the Conduct Risk Framework and Product Oversight Governance Framework
- To act as a referral point to the business on Conduct Risk related queries
- Undertaking reviews of all customer documentation, including Insurance Product Information Documents (IPIDs), policy wordings, and online materials, and providing feedback and recommendations to Underwriters where changes are needed to improve customer outcomes. Assisting Underwriters and other operational teams with product testing as required
- Assisting Underwriters with product governance reviews to ensure customer outcomes have been appropriately considered and assessed and that the product provides fair value
- Conduct customer journey reviews to ensure positive outcomes for all Canopius customers
- Assisting the underwriters, Delegated Underwriting Management (DUM) Team, Claims Teams and Complaints Teams with completing Coverholder and Delegated Claims Authority (DCA) onboarding and renewals from a customer outcomes perspective to ensure conduct risks are appropriately overseen and mitigated
- Assisting with the delivery of Conduct Risk Training internally and externally to our Partners
- Undertaking Quality Assurance (QA) reviews in relation to the Conduct Risk Framework and open market underwriting to ensure internal processes are being adhered to and customers are receiving fair outcomes
- Assist the Conduct Manager in creating reports for various committees, including the ability to analyse and interpret Management Information (MI)
Skills And Experience
- FCA / Conduct knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of the Lloyd’s market
- Strong communication skills
- Developed stakeholder manager skills
- Ability to understand compliance requirements and embed them into business processes
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Strong understanding of how Conduct MI links to Customer Outcomes
- Proficient in report writing
- Strong analytical skills
