Introduction
The Asset Engineer is a technical expert in asset lifecycle management, responsible for developing and maintaining inventory systems, troubleshooting hardware issues, and optimising asset distribution processes. They provide advanced support for resolving complex hardware challenges and ensure compliance with organisational asset management policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee troubleshooting of hardware issues and ensure user satisfaction with distributed equipment.
- Implement tools for efficient asset tracking and reporting.
- Manage the day-to-day distribution, setup, and support of IT equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets in inventory systems.
- Perform initial diagnostics and repairs for common hardware issues.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
- Knowledge of office 365/Intune (not essential)
- Demonstrate ability to work on their own
- Customer focus
- Experience in hands on maintenance of hardware (not essential)
- Willingness to travel to other offices
