The Senior Multi Line Risk Engineer is responsible for conducting Middle Market field surveys and providing service support. This role involves both on-site physical surveys and virtual/phone surveys, with a focus on assessing operations, exposures, and control adequacy for property, general liability, workers compensation, and auto coverages.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site and virtual/phone assessments of prospects and clients.
- Perform detailed assessments of operations, exposures, and control adequacy for property, general liability, workers compensation, and auto coverages based on industry standards
- Evaluate COPE including sprinkler system adequacy and calculate loss expectancies.
- Complete Loss Analysis
- Summarize findings in internal reports with appropriate loss improvement recommendations.
- Provide support and recommendations to underwriters, policyholders, and brokers.
- Timely communication with internal and external partners.
Required Skills:
- Competency with analyzing loss data.
- Competency with Microsoft suite tools and applications.
- Good communication skills for working with underwriters, policyholders, and brokers.
- Solid time management skills.
- Competency with NFPA, OSHA, and DOT standards.
- Strong consultative skills and the ability to complete detailed service plans.
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in hazard identification skills, emphasizing Property, General Liability, Products, and Workers' Compensation coverages.
Education/Experience:
- Engineering, Safety, Risk Management or comparable degree/experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a safety-related role; property and casualty insurance experience highly desired.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$99,052 - $134,012/year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
