Description
A new opportunity has arisen for someone looking to kickstart their career in Insurance to join CFC's Underwriting Operations team, a team that is a cornerstone in driving change and scaling the business in line with our ambitious growth trajectory. The Underwriting Operations team focuses on driving efficiencies and best practices throughout our underwriting processes, challenges how we operate today and works at setting up CFC for additional growth.
In this role you are responsible for supporting centralised business processes. This will include tasks such as conducting underwriting file reviews, managing centralised underwriting guidance, handling change requests for our quote and bind platform, and facilitating our underwriting authority process.
About the role
As a Operations Support Coordinator you’ll develop a thorough understanding of CFC’s workflow processes and systems as well as gaining exposure to the various classes of insurance that CFC underwrites.
As an Operations Support Coordinator you your responsibilities will be not be limited to:
- Undertaking monthly underwriting file reviews for underwriting teams across the company.
- Monitoring mailboxes and handing operations queries from stakeholders across the business.
- Actioning change requests for our internal systems.
- Supporting the wider Operations team with various projects and tasks when required.
About you
We are looking for someone who has the ability to multi-task, managing several initiatives concurrently of varying sizes. You must be able to engage with stakeholders across different lines of underwriting and support functions. You will ideally have previous insurance experience and have a solid business and technical acumen. This position requires an inquisitive nature, strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
