Personal Assistant Support
- Support a busy and fast paced department within NFU Mutual
- Part time role between 17.5 – 21 hours per week
- Hybrid working, 80% working from home and 20% at Head Office in Stratford upon Avon
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our existing PA team in a Personal Assistant Support role on a part time basis. As an indispensable hub of coordination and efficiency, you'll help drive our daily operations with precision and flair. You will support our busy Underwriting and Pricing Department involving over 200 people, which sits within NFU Mutual’s Customer Service Division.
You’ll work closely with the PA cohort to seamlessly coordinate meetings and manage correspondence ensuring all logistical pieces fall into place. You’ll action purchase orders from initiation through to processing and vendor communication, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods and services. In addition, you will provide general support across the team, covering everything from document preparation to data entry and communications when required.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and takes pride in being the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly, this is the role for you.
About you:
You’re tech-savvy and confident with the MS 365 suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms, and the full Office toolkit. You’ve thrived in a similar role, whether admin support, secretarial, or as a PA and you bring that relevant background to the table. You’re organised, proactive, and adept at prioritising multiple tasks, keeping everything on track with finesse.
To join our team, you must also;
- Naturally step up to support stakeholder management and collaboration, building relationships and communicating effectively across teams.
- Be comfortable working collaboratively, teamwork comes naturally, and you know how to make collective goals happen.
- Demonstrate great organisational skills and have experience of planning meetings.
- Ideally have worked with purchase orders before, this would be a great advantage, but it’s something we’d happily help you grow into if needed.
At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique. We celebrate the creativity and innovation that comes from diverse perspectives and experiences and share a common vision of doing the right thing for our customers and employees.
We recognise that some candidates may experience barriers during the recruitment process. So, we encourage candidates to discuss any adjustments or accommodations they need to be the best they can be throughout our recruitment process.
We're proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, a Race at Work and Women in Finance Charter signatory and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, disability, neurodiversity, gender, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.
