We’re currently recruiting for a Finance and Actuarial Operations Manager to join our Finance and Actuarial Operations team. This is a key role in driving operational excellence, managing the end-to-end operating model and a great opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the implementation of the function vision and its objectives in line with the European strategy.
- Key role in developing effective end-to-end Finance Operating Model, including the development and maintenance of the overall view of Finance and Actuarial processes and technology roadmap.
- Support oversight of all Finance and Actuarial change projects, ensuring that change governance framework and operational readiness activities are adhered to.
- Partner with other teams to develop and support efficient reporting cycles supporting financial control and reporting activities.
- Take active role in management of outsourced services and ensure timely and accurate information is available to ensure robust control structures.
- Ensure compliance with the risk framework, policies and standards.
- Promote a continuous performance improvement culture, encouraging innovation and growth.
- Develop and manage cross-divisional internal relationships to create a strong network to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Managing priorities and planning the most effective use of resource when there are conflicting demands on resource.

- Applying and assimilating external insights to ensure the strategic and operational priorities are appropriate.
- Effectively communicating complex information to a wide group of senior stakeholders against a background of continuous internal and external change.
- Managing change - ensuring improvements are customer driven, taking account of corporate and divisional strategies.
- Managing, motivating and developing a team to ensure they continue to deliver excellence against a background of continual fast paced internal and external change
- Managing the delivery of the team within agreed budget and timelines.
