We have the opportunity for an
Automation Test Analyst to join our
Business Transformation department here at
Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting into the Test Manager, you will contribute to the strategic objectives of TMK through the delivery of change, holding us to high levels of quality in our software delivery, as well as ongoing testing of BAU releases & regular regression testing.
The role includes responsibility for:
- Create automated test scripts with full traceability to requirements.
- Write, maintain, and execute automated tests using pytest-bdd and Selenium WebDriver. (Replace to: Design, maintain, and execute automated tests in Python using Pytest-BDD and Selenium WebDriver.)
- Ensure full traceability of tests to business requirements.
- Collaborate with wider teams to review test coverage and identify automation gaps.
- Conduct UI and API testing.
- Work with Pytest-BDD or similar BDD frameworks.
- Use GitLab CI/CD pipelines to run automated tests.
- Manage defect dashboards in Jira and provide MI as required.
- Complete testing activities via Jira, including defect logging and closure
- Attend daily triage calls and work closely with BAs and developers to prioritize and resolve defects.
- Document and communicate risks and issues to the PM, ensuring resolution.
- Occasionally Help out with BAU automation
The successful candidate will have knowledge of testing tools such as Jira and Xray and will have familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines. An understanding of automation test technologies such as Selenium, Pycharm and Python would also be beneficial, as would an understanding of Lloyds/insurance. We are looking for an excellent communicator who is innovative, self-motivated and able to manage their own workload with minimal oversight.
