Description
Convex is looking to find a talented Operations Analyst to join the Underwriting Operations function to help to drive our ambition for Operational Excellence, strong execution and delivering high quality outcomes with a market leading low expense ratio.
Underwriting Operations drives efficiency, consistency and control across the underwriting lifecycle. By optimising processes and maintaining data integrity, the team ensures underwriters have the systems, data, governance and administrative support they need to manage their risks efficiently and accurately.
The role available within Underwriting Operations will have exposure across different areas of Operations but will be aligned to the Technical Operations Team (Underwriting Support).
As you develop into the role, some of the key tasks may include...
- Reviewing existing processes, identifying opportunities to streamline across lines of business and introducing process improvements aimed at increasing quality and efficiency.
- Establishing new processes resulting from business change or introduction of new technologies.
- Drafting procedural and process documentation.
- Supporting on various projects within the wider team.
- Analysing data and developing reports for monitoring productivity, measuring performance of a service/process or identifying data inaccuracies.
- Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the underwriting support though optimisation of process design, governance, technology and outsourcing.
- Engaging with key stakeholders in Underwriting, Finance, Operations and our key outsourcing partners.
- Helping to identify knowledge gaps, training opportunities and design appropriate tools to improve technical knowledge and awareness of operational processes.
