Analytics Analyst
Application Deadline: 18 January 2026
Department: Graduate & School Leaver Programme
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: London, UK
Compensation: £35,000 / year
Description
The Analytics function creates competitive advantage through industry leading decision making enabled by comprehensive data and cross functional analytics. Convex is looking to hire an inquisitive, dynamic graduate who will rotate through a selection of the 9 different teams within Analytics, mastering the fundamentals across multiple disciplines.
During your first two years, you would most likely rotate across 2-4 of the 9 core Analytics teams as your “home-team”, though you will also work on multidisciplinary projects which touch aspects of all Analytics functions. While some of your home-teams will be predetermined, a key benefit of this programme is its flexibility, as your other home-team placements will be driven by your particular skillset, interests, and connections formed during the programme.
Your development during the programme could laser in on anything from actuarial and statistical techniques for analysing stochastic model output, negotiations and commercial acumen at the coalface of reinsurance purchasing, or data science and experimentation with new technologies in our Innovation team (…and much more in between, see below!). We offer full support should you choose to take a relevant qualification route, such as Actuarial exams or CII.
This role is ideally suited for a graduate with a high numerical aptitude who thrives on complex problem-solving, embraces change, and is ready to build a world-class analytical foundation for a long-term career in the industry.
As you develop into the role, some of the key tasks may include...
