About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative IBA Executive to join our Insurance Broking Accounts team. You’ll be a subject matter expert, managing a portfolio of accounts and supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.
What you will be doing
- Managing your own allocation of work across areas such as Credit Control, Cash Application, Insurer Reconciliation/Bordereaux, Bank Reconciliation, and Client Money Calculations.
- Overseeing a portfolio of accounts, brokers, and insurers, ensuring timely and accurate completion of key activities.
- Acting as a referral point for queries and providing coaching to less experienced team members.
- Supporting IBA projects, audits, legacy projects, and integration plans as a subject matter expert.
- Engaging with internal teams and external clients and insurers to build strong working relationships.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in finance operations who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience within a finance shared service environment, ideally in the insurance industry.
- Understanding of IBA best practices and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems.
- Proactive problem-solver who works well independently and under pressure.
- A team player with a positive attitude and commitment to supporting colleagues.
