The Supplier Risk Manager is responsible for developing and implementing supplier management routines at TIH/CRC supporting the Supplier Risk Management Standards and Policies. This role operates in TIH Procurement and supports business unit and functional partners in managing supplier risk through supplier onboarding activities, reassessments, advice and counsel, and regular reporting.
Provides consultation and support during the planning and contracting phases, onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring completion of artefacts and risk assessment activities. Reviews, tracks and works with the function and business unit representatives to monitor and mitigate risks related to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance. Collaborates with Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECO), Compliance, Internal Audit and business to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, mitigate risks and enhance the business and function user experience to realize optimal delivery from suppliers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan and implement Supplier Risk Management function to include technology, policies, procedures and meeting cadence with business and functional representatives.
- In conjunction with Sourcing & Contracting and ECO, coordinate Risk Review questionnaires, manage results, tier suppliers by risk and meet requirements for monitoring supplier risk and performance
- Ensures exit strategies exist, including Winding Down Plan and Repatriation Plan
- Drive awareness to supplier risks through participation in supplier-led risk forums and other training
- Manage escalations between the supplier, business units and functional entities through to resolution
- Key communication point with all lines of Business and suppliers in their portfolio, functional partners to ensure necessary information for the cross-functional teams are delivered
- Ensure proper monthly monitoring of SLAs for all suppliers via a risk-based approach
- Provide reporting to senior management on health of the portfolio including key risk indicators and control execution
- Works with the suppliers, business units and Functional Partners to identify, document and close any service gaps/performance levels
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 5 years of experience in Supplier Risk Management is required.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Implement risk management practices in the financial services industry
- Execution of policies and procedures
- Experience with industry standard analytics platforms/ERP (Workday, PowerBI, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
- Experience working in a complex environment and managing multiple priorities
