This job operates as a technical resource, applying subject matter expertise to align practices with business goals and market trends. It requires anticipating needs, identifying issues early and developing practical solutions that strengthen compensation effectiveness and operational reliability. Working under direction, the role is expected to lead small-medium size initiatives, apply strong analytical judgement and support colleagues through technical guidance and hands-on execution, while advancing continuous improvement across compensation processes, systems and methodologies.
What will you be doing in this role?
• Analyzing compensation policies and practices to ensure they support the business unit's goals, providing recommendations for enhancements to compensation programs as appropriate
• Collaborating with partners in HR and at times, in the business, providing technical expertise to develop solutions that meet the needs of the business and support broader HR initiatives.
• Adapting existing analytical methods to evaluate compensation structures and their market alignment. Lead benchmarking processes and range management.
• Managing equity administration processes, including grants, releases, and related compliance activities.
• Identifying ways to elevate compensation reporting and analytics to drive efficiency and deliver valuable insights to the business.
• Leading compensation-related projects with a strategic focus on business objectives. Expected to play a leading role in the execution of the year end compensation process.
• Training colleagues on the use of compensation tools and systems to enhance departmental capabilities.
• Interpreting and applying relevant laws and regulations to maintain compliance in compensation practices.

What we’re looking for from you:
• A broad understanding of compensation strategies and their impact on organizational objectives.
• A history of successfully leading projects and proactively advancing improvements in compensation practices and process while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• A proven ability to interpret, analyse, and manage large and complex data sets, translating raw data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decision making.
• Proficiency with Workday Advanced Compensation, including configuration, administration and the ability to troubleshoot complex workflows and eligibility rules.
• A strong understanding of equity-based compensation and associated cyclical processes (e.g. vesting, grant, tax withholding).
• Skill in leveraging major compensation market-data and benchmarking platforms such as Payscale, Bettercomp, and Salary.com to evaluate roles, analyse competitive positioning and provide market-aligned recommendations.
• A high standard of confidentiality and ethical conduct in handling sensitive information.
• Adaptability in solving compensation issues using established and evolving methodologies.
• Skill in building effective relationships with HR partners, business leaders and external providers.
• A good understanding of Executive Compensation matters in an SEC governed entity, including some prior involvement in regulatory and Board reporting activities (i.e. Proxy statement, Form 4 filings).
Role factors:
In this role, you will typically be required to be present in the New York City office 3 days per week.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $175,000 to $200,000. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
