The role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on FP&A Manager to lead the management of our UK expense base and play a central role in developing a best-in-class FP&A function.
Reporting to the Financial Performance Director, you will manage a team of three and partner with senior leaders, including the Executive Committee, to deliver meaningful insights and commercial challenge.
Key accountabilities:
- Oversee monthly expense and FTE reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual planning, and ad hoc analysis.
- Enhance and manage expense allocation models under both UK GAAP and IFRS17.
- Drive process improvements using advanced Excel skills and contribute to the adoption of new financial planning tools and Power BI dashboards.
- Consolidate financials (P&L, balance sheet, cashflows, capital allocations) across multiple legal entities.
- Strengthen financial controls and support both internal and external audits.
Skills & experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong UK Insurance P&L and management accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills with exposure to financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle, IBM).
- Confident stakeholder management, including CFO/CEO engagement.
