Job Summary:
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting Tokio Marine Group’s global communication strategy through administering Tokio Marine’s new global intranet. This role will report to the Communications and Enterprise Leadership Manager and will support the company’s internal branding efforts across our global workforce (over 30,000 employees worldwide). The role will focus on global internal communications, and you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in the U.S., Europe, Japan and more, to ensure our messaging resonates effectively with our diverse employee audience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operationalize and execute the strategy for the new Tokio Marine global intranet site. Ensures content is accurate and aligns with global business goals and internal communication priorities
- Support governance and compliance standards for the Intranet by creating standard operating procedures and ensuring established standards and best practices are followed
- Oversee editorial process for the Intranet including content review, and sourcing global stories that highlight the culture and mission of our global organization
- Manage Intranet content and event calendar to ensure content is refreshed periodically
- Act as a site administrator for onboarding new Group Companies to the Intranet, as well as content management for the site as it is continuously refreshed, updated, and expanded
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns, using data insights to optimize future initiatives. Develop executive summaries based on results
- Support other communications projects as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in communications and intranet site administration, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. Relevant internship experience welcome
- SharePoint site or comparable Intranet platform administration is required. SharePoint certification or equivalent experience/skills is a plus
- Ability to work on a fast-paced business team, including working outside of regular business hours
- Experience with analytics interpreting data that drives business results/needs
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and platforms
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions, regions and cultures
