Job Summary:
Assists with country-wide corporate benefits and Leave of Absence administration for TMNAS and Tokio Marine Group companies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for technical aspects and administration of the comprehensive health and life insurance plans, statutory benefits, disability benefits and 401K plan
- Performs administration of all forms of leave of absence: STD, LTD, CFRA, FMLA and Worker’s Compensation. Assists with annual enrollment of health plans including all enrollment meetings
- Assists with annual audits for 401K plan
- Assist with Medicare part D filings and associated legislative updates. Ensures accuracy and applicable distribution of all plan documents and SPD’s
- Coordinate with HRIT department on any feed issues affecting benefit eligibility and payroll deductions
- Assist with administration for corporate wellness programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 - 5 years’ experience in corporate benefits administration
- Experience in multi- state disability leave administration
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
- HRIS background/knowledge preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in Benefits
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Superior customer service orientation toward Business Units requiring HR consulting (responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate)
- Able to work with a group to set its objectives and agenda, generate allegiance to those objectives, and guide and motivate achievement
- Strong interpersonal relationship building skills: able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Patience, diplomacy and tact
