This growing team provides analysis services to key stakeholders across NFU Mutual to enable successful, forward-thinking business change that meets the needs and expectations of both our organisation and our customers. We currently have a significant number of change programmes in key areas of our business including projects in digital customer management, finance, general insurance policy management systems and regulatory change.As a Business Analyst, you’ll facilitate communication and effective interaction between stakeholders and our development teams. You’ll understand the end-to-end software development lifecycle and assist the business in applying both Agile and waterfall methodologies effectively. You’ll collaborate closely with Developers and Testers, ensuring requirements are understood and align to solution outcomes. You’ll be a great team player and demonstrate adaptability and proactivity when required. You’ll confidently manage business sponsors, project teams and vendor resources to ensure project and business objectives are met. Meticulous and analytical in your approach, you’ll clarify the impact of proposed solutions to establish costs, risk and options, and present appropriate recommendations in a concise, traceable, and flexible manner.To join us as a Business Analyst, you should also have experience of:The end-to-end software development lifecycle (iterative and waterfall methodologies).Process documentation and engineering (UML and/or BPMN notations). Requirements elicitation and management (functional and non-functional). Conducting impact assessments for complex business changes. Experience of Agile methodologies Experience of using application Lifecycle management software such as Azure DevOps Working on Guidewire platforms (desirable - essential for those targeting the top of the salary band) Relevant qualification in business analysis, ideally BCS (British Computer Society) / IIBA (highly desirable) Coaching and mentoring more junior Business Analysts At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique.
