Job Description
Financial Analyst
- Analyze investment data and explain investment results via commentary.
- Document, maintain, and report findings monthly as it pertains to the investment portfolio.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly investment reporting, on a management and U.S. GAAP basis.
- Prepare journal entries and account review for larger and diverse Chubb business units.
- Prepare reconciliations and research out-of-balances by running queries, analyzing PeopleSoft accounts, and presenting findings to the reporting manager.
- Communicate effectively with all business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of related financial industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn investment accounting software
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Team player with customer service orientation
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership experience in an academic or business setting
- Enthusiastic self-starter with professional attitude
- Demonstrated integrity and dedication
